pma Registration
Setting up a PMA enables you to establish your own business in Indonesia/Bali and obtain a KITAS (Temporary Residency Permit).
What Is a PMA?
A PMA (Penanaman Modal Asing) is a legal entity designed for foreigners to engage in commercial activities in Indonesia, established in accordance with Indonesian law. It is similar to an LLC (Limited Liability Company) in the US.

It allows you to operate a business in Indonesia/Bali and obtain a KITAS (Temporary Residency Permit). In a PMA, foreign investors can be registered as shareholders, either as legal entities or individuals.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You need to select a company name, which can be in any language and must consist of at least 3 words and 3 letters. Please note that terms such as ‘company,’ ‘co,’ ‘community,’ ‘LTD,’ ‘Ent,’ and ‘Enterprise’ are not permitted in a PT PMA name.
2. KBLI / Business Sectors: With a PT PMA, you can register up to 5 different business sectors.
3. Company Positions: A PT PMA must have at least 2 individuals—one Director and one Commissioner. The minimum shareholding required is 2%.
4. We require a passport photo or scan from all shareholders. The passport must be valid for at least 12 months when applying for the KITAS. Please note that a 2% shareholding does not qualify for KITAS.
